~ “Color Blind” ~
Martin famously dreamed of a day when race would not be the basis by which people are judged. Are we there yet? Is it even possible? Some today would say that the solution to racism is to be ‘color blind’. “I don’t see race, I just see a person.” But in our highly racialized culture we can’t change what we refuse to see. On this Martin Luther King, Jr. Sunday we consider Martin’s words in our world today.
